The City of Virginia Beach and Beach Events are proud to announce the line-up of concerts, festivals, and entertainment coming to the Virginia Beach oceanfront in 2022. The exciting and eclectic schedule will include the always popular signature events as well as a variety of unique entertainment experiences including family shows, art and cultural events, and holiday celebrations.
Designed to provide entertainment for both visitors and the residents of Hampton Roads, the 2022 calendar of mostly free events will begin in April and continue through the holidays. Daily, Live! On Atlantic programming begins April 22 with the always-popular Atlantic Coast Kite Festival rounding out the first month of activities. Visitors and residents can enjoy the arts throughout the summer with events such the Virginia International PANfest and Chalk the Walk.
After a two-year hiatus, Pungo Offroad Monsters on the Beach presented by Eastern Truck & Accessories roars onto the sand for four-wheeling fun. Additional family favorites include Beach Blanket Cinema, Holiday Parade at the Beach, BayPort Credit Union Holiday Lights at the Beach, and the Family HolidayBike Night.
We celebrate the seasons with Salute to Summer, Stars and Stripes Celebration, and Labor Day Weekend Oceanfront Concert Series. We round-out 2022 with BayPort Credit Union Holiday Lights at the Beach where guests navigate their vehicles through holiday, nautical, and adventure-themed light displays on the Virginia Beach Boardwalk.
Additional festivals offer something for everyone throughout the summer, including Beach Music Weekend, La Fiesta! Virginia Beach, Totally Tribute Music Fest, Virginia Beach Funk Fest Beach Party, and the Virginia Beach Craft Beer, Bar-B-Que, and Blues.
